The difference isn’t as big nowadays. American followers of Alex Jones, Tulsi Gabbard, J.D. Vance, Tucker Carlson, and other right-wing Trumpists believe that Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and his murder of tens of thousands of unarmed Ukrainians is perfectly justified, because Ukraine is part of Russia and Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a violent insurrectionist.
